Faith-integrated academics
At St. Gerald, faith and learning go hand in hand. Students pray together every day, celebrate Mass each week and study religion alongside math, science and literature.
Every class has a full-time teacher, and Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade also have teacher’s aides. Technology is part of daily lessons, with 1:1 Chromebooks for every student in grades K–8.

Preschool
A safe, loving “first school” experience, where the growth and development of the whole child is nurtured and supported, and each child is seen as unique and loved by God. Flexible schedules and extended care make it an easy choice for working parents.

Elementary
Our teachers challenge students to develop a lifelong love of learning. From accelerated reading programs to research projects, your child’s academic, emotional and spiritual development is at the forefront of our program.

Junior high
Our junior high program prepares students for a successful high school career. St. Gerald students enter Catholic high schools such as Brother Rice, St. Laurence and Mother McAuley, as well as area public schools, with confidence and a solid foundation built on academic excellence, compassion and community.
Music, art, gym, library, Spanish and STEM
Every student has music, gym and library, Preschool through Grade 8. Art begins in Grade 1, Spanish in Grade 3 and STEM in Grade 5.

Students sing, learn music and perform, including at our Christmas performance. Taught by Mrs. Diel.

Once a week, students explore different art materials, styles and artists, with seasonal projects through the year.

Physical education for every grade, Preschool 3 through 8th, with Mr. Trinidad.

Library
Regular library time helps every student build a love of reading.

Spanish
Students build vocabulary and practice speaking, listening, reading and writing in Spanish through games, role-play and cultural activities. Taught by Mrs. Diel.

A hands-on class that builds on science lessons, with labs, design projects and plenty of teamwork.

8th graders serve their school each afternoon, helping keep classrooms and the building clean.

8th graders can join the yearbook staff, which meets twice a month after school starting in November.

Altar Servers
St. Gerald Parish has altar servers from both St. Gerald School and the REY program.

Scouts
St. Gerald Parish has active Cub and Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs for boys and girls of all ages.
Sports
The St. Gerald Athletic Club (SGAC) sponsors the parish sports program, open to all St. Gerald School and REY students.
